STEP 2. WORKING WITH YOUR COUNSELOR

Once you are assigned a counselor, you will log in and fill out a confidential client survey (CCS) on your assigned counselor’s "virtual workspace" (SEE STEP 3).

The CCS is critical. It serves as a basis for your counselor as he or she prepares to craft with you a personal marketing pitch for admission committees. Your counselor will review your survey and then call you to get to know you and understand your goals. You'll both then outline a long-term plan to get you through the admissions process as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Our counselors are trained to guide you through the process with the following steps in mind:

  • Evaluate your strengths and weaknesses—i.e.,given your scores, grades, activities, and personal qualities, how do you compare with the applicant pool at top schools
  • Design a personalized marketing approach, with themes that emphasize your strengths and minimize your weaknesses using all the components of the application
  • Provide on-going guidance and coaching on application completion, with strict attention to detail

Brody counselors are the best in the business and are trained to provide uniformly excellent service.
